Creating A Sticky Header
A sticky header stays at the top of the page no matter where you scroll. However, this is more than a “fixed” header, because on the sticky statement you can apply different vertical paddings to the rows. In this way providing more room for the content when the user scroll your page. More than that, in the case your header contains more rows, you can choose which one to be sticky.
How to use the row sticky feature
Click on the "cog icon from the row options to open the row settings panel.
- Check the sticky option in order to enable the feature.
- Reduce the vertical padding if needed. The "Padding vertical" value will be used just when the row gets the sticky position on the browser.
How to avoid overlapping issues
Do not forget to set a background color to the header row. Otherwise, the header content will be looking like overlapping the body content.
Note for the 1.8.7 theme users
The sticky header option is located in WP Admin > Appearance > Customize > Header design and check the "Sticky the menu on scroll".
